Most likely, the track itself is pretty tough. Sometimes the plastic part in the back that has the "tunnels" for the cables can get messes up, but usually that's so bad that you see it and then you need a track

I got around to taking it off today. So before I mentioned nothing would move, well stuff moves, sometimes . I was taking my son to a bday part and heard some wind like a cracked window, it was coming from pano so i hit close on sun roof and it pano'd all the way to open, open position that usually you have to hit the button twice to do. Then it took about 15 times to get it to close. My son and I both heard plastic pieces being hit as it moved on the track sliding, then that stopped. it eventually closed and I left it. Today I took the glass off and snapped some pictures. Oddly, with a light and mirror along the track I couldn't find any plastic pieces. I'm attaching the pics
