oh it’s on the paint. Absolutely no intention of removing it. It’s a permanent fix for me. Haha

Check it every now and then. UV deteriorates tape. Might have to re-apply every so often.

Is anyone aware of similar resources and/or videos on removing and replacing the rear sunroof glass?

it's the same as removing the track, you just don't remove it all the way. You drop it enough to get the glass out.

Default Sunroof cables

So has anyone had any experience replacing the cables. I know the cables are bad because the plastic it the end is gone on both side. I haven’t had any luck finding information on this so any help would be useful and appreciated. Thanks

I have a set and will be doing a video on it in the near future. I've not seen where anybody else has done one yet though.

I am going to have to attempt it this week. Could you tell me this , does the entire frame have to come out or can I drop the motor and pull them out towards the front of the sunroof? I’m trying to get it together in my mind first.

pretty sure you're going to need to pull the track. I know you do with the old ones. People claim you can do it in the truck on the old ones, but it's way easier to pull the track out and have it on the ground or on some saw horses

well it will be my first so any insight would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure there’s another thread about it but what’s the steps to recalibrated the sunroof and the need to do so ?
