Any good 6" lift kits for 2016 F150 XLT 2WD? Just looking for some recommendations to dig into further. I'd like to stay under $2500 out the door.

Rough Country, Superlift, and Maxtrac all have 6" lifts for 2wd.

Got a couple buddies with the Rough Country and have been pretty happy, except that the rear sits a little too high. Im running the Maxtrac

How close are you to perfectly level?

I had to add the 1.5" shackles to get rid of the rear sag.

The the Rough Country kit has a 5.5" rear block and has too much rake IMO, probably would be perfect with a 4.5" block.

A 4"-4.5" would give it a way better look. Last I spoke with Rough Country, they were waiting to exhaust the current stock before making the rear block smaller in the 2WD kit. Until then I either go down in the back or up in the front. I'll add a 1" Tuff Country pre-load spacer to make it 7" front lift and give a more level look. The resulting height is closer to a 4WD with a 6" and the arm angles are the same too. (pictured below)

I originally had the truck lifted with just the 4" block and I didnt like the lean. The extra 1-1.5" looks better IMO, but its all about preference.

Here's a pic to compare without the shackle...

I also have the maxtrac on my rig on 35s

As said above it does take alil in the back. I plan to either lift the front more with an adjustable shock and add the 5 inch block in the rear or see if a 4.5 option comes out.

You can have any size lift block made you want, it's just a little more expensive than off the shelf options. I had Trevor at PMF Suspension make me a 3.5" block when I was looking, and best I can remember he'll do what you want in 1/4" increments.

I'm curious to know how much custom blocks are. Shackles were the cheapest way to go for me. The ubolts maxtrac sent were too short to use with a 5" block.
