My initial impression was that the vibrations were almost completely gone. I say "almost" because there is still a vibration present and I'm starting to think that something else is causing it. Since the truck's original driveshaft was out of balance, I have a feeling that the u-joint experienced extra wear and tear and that it too should be replaced. Everything I'm reading online suggests that a worn u-joint can cause high frequency vibrations.

The new driveshaft definitely helped a lot though.
Yes U joints can cause vibrations for sure but it will not wear that quick for a new truck.

Could be a batch of bad ujoints that Ford is not telling us about, the only way to get around that is buy some after market ones and pop them on to find out.

I was in touch with my service manager today and he confirmed that the driveshaft comes as a complete unit with new u joints, rear knuckle and front spline yoke. All were replaced on my truck. He is now putting in an "engineering hotline request" to see what they say.

Again, the new driveshaft made a noticeable difference in that the vibration is much less prominent, but a high frequency vibration still exists.

yes ford ships them complete but the joints maybe bad,so you may have to replace them with other brand.

I have a 2" BDS level on mine and it's going in on the 21st.

The service rep and the mechanic said they can feel the vibrations but they said it might be normal for this model. I mentioned that there's multiple threads on here about this and they should read it.
I get a vibrating noise just as I accelerate around 1500 RPM's, but I don't feel it. It only last for a moment, then disappears. It almost reminds me of the noise a heat shield on the exhaust would make. This just started recently. Do you actually FEEL this?

Yes i do feel the vibrations at those rpm ranges. During idle whether I'm on park or on a stoplight it is smooth as you can be. But as soon as i step on the gas and hit those rpm range the vibrations shows up. It doesn't matter what gear or speed. Like I mention on my previous post. When I took it in, they can feel the vibrations. But told me it might be normal for this model. The service manager also told me that it could be because the truck is still brand new. It only had 400 miles or so when I took it in the first time. He said put some miles on it and if the vibrations is still there bring it back again. Now i have 1500 miles and the vibrations is still there.

Just to add a note. When I brought it in the first time I still had the stock Goodyears and no leveling kit. Now i have the BFG and the level kit. Im bringing it back again monday, i hope they wont blame the new tires and the level kit for the vibrations.

So are we talking about two different vibrations in this thread? I have two. One, my pedal vibrates when accelerating and gearing up, and then I also have a vibration seemingly coming from the rear when hitting around 60-65 mph then going away at 70 and up. I've had the tires balanced. Someone told me in another thread it could be due to pinion angle when I got my level and blocks put on
