Default 2015 2.7 No Start Fuel issue

2015 2.7l Ecoboost

Was pulling out of a spot and truck stalled out.

Checked fuel pump relay and fuse, both are good.
Will randomly start for a second and stalls out. But other than that, truck will just crank and crank with no start.

Scanned it and got these codes:
P0627 Fuel Pump Control Circuit/Open
P00C6 Fuel Rail Pressure too low

Replaced fuel pump driver module because tested and determined no power was being delivered to the fuel pump.

Still no start, bringing it to the dealer Monday.

If anyone has had a similar problem please let me know. Have not had time to really get under it and test more wires.

UPDATE: dealer determined fuel pump was bad. It was Covered under power train warranty since 3yr-36k ended a few months prior.

Yes. My issue was the fuel pump and was replaced under the powertrain warrenty. When questioned, one of the shop guys commented something about a ground issue too but didn’t give me many details.

Good to hear they handled it under the powertrain warranty. I am hoping since its the same codes they will do the same for mine.

Similar thing happened to me in September with 36,545 miles. Crank, no start, my problem was the Fuel Pump. It was covered under the 5/60,000 Powertrain warranty.

Finally got mine back looks like it was the same the fuel pump. I have only seen 2015 2.7 models having the issue where the fuel pump died early wonder if it was a bad batch. Hopefully the replacement will last a heck of a lot longer.

Default P0627 – Fuel Pump A Secondary Circuit 2015 ford f150 2.7l

I just passed 100k on my 2015 2.7l this week and then I parked it, hopped back in it later and it would not start. Cranks, but does not start. I saw this and the posters are talking about fuel pumps. I just wanted to see if anyone was familiar with this issue? I called the dealership and they said it is not the fuel pump with that specific code. They were no help after that, which I can understand. I am in a spot where it isn't able to be towed. I was hoping it would be a control unit. Does anyone have any experience with this issue or code besides the fuel pump replacement?

What codes did you get? What’s common to go is the fuel module or possibly a ground issue.

Hi,
This just happened to my 2015 / 3.5L Eco, both P0627 and P00C6 Codes, Replaced the Module and that didn't do much other than start it for a min then died and just cranking away again with no start..
As I am down to fuel pump assembly I was happy to read your thread. It was the assembly in the tank they replaced right ? and not the one near the valves ?

Sounds like an issue on the 2015 2.7EB's. Just had this happen to my truck. Was running fine and started stuttering under acceleration, then finally died and wouldn't start when I got to the shoulder. Towed to the dealer and today they said the problem seems to be the auxiliary fuel pump. They are ordering one. They hope it did not take out the primary pump.
