Interesting article, other sources say the 2017 issue is limited to the SD's. IDK and IDC if mine has a problem, they will fix it.

I can confirm that my 2015 had the issue. Dealer applied the fix to the inside of my doors after showing them a video I took one door that wouldn't open and another that wouldn't stay closed. Not limited to the Super Duty at all.

I'd love to see this 'water shield' design to see if it really works.

YUP!!! There is a sticky thread already on this topic...."Frozen Locks"........ I suggest strongly that you post your door lock issues and comments THERE and also look there for updates on availability of parts..... including feedback on if it fixes the problem better than the TSB(s) .... or not!!.....AZPLAT

I bought my truck in late August 2015. One cold February morning my locks would not unlatch. Then after I took my key and unlocked the drivers door. It would not latch. Was not happy at the time..lol.

They put rain shields in mine according to TSB 16-0155 and it didn't fix it. Hopefully the recall has new parts that will do the trick.

I believe on mine the first time in they greased the cables and latches. Then when it still did it they replaced the latches and cables. It has not done it since. But winter is coming here.

Any update on the fix? I also did paper work and was told sorry can’t deliver.

That means I can't get mine until then.
Have you got any new update?

Sorry, but I do not have any hard factual info. I have seen others who suggested that parts would be available by mid November and another (yesterday) who was told January.

I asked my dealer what they had on the lot that did not have airbag seatbelts and went from there.
