Are you talking about the water draining to the sides of the truck? like below the A Pillar?

The OP mentioned the smell was worse in the back seat.

I don't have cats so I'm not sure if I have the same problem but I have noticed when we get a lot of rain my truck has had a mildew smell in it for a few days afterward. I think it may be my fault from hitting standing water going too fast and splashing water up through the cab vents. It hasn't happened in a while since I started being more careful not to do that.

don't waste your money on the cabin filter, that's not the fix. I am gonna try & find a leak behind the seats did't realize there were vents back there.

No. Outside air for your cabin enters the system through the grilled area around the base of the windshield. Since outside air can enter so can water. Ok. Back seat/front seat the air in the cabin is being circulated.

Are you talking about these vents in the rear? they should have a flap over the outside of them to stop water from getting in. I think you can acctually see them from outside the truck too..

if you don't have the sub, should be as easy as flipping rear seat down.

I have sound proofing material on my 16', you'd have to pull that up I believe to see the vent.

not sure if the picture posted was while tearing down or 15s don't have it?
