2010 Lariat Supercab switch to 2017 XLT Special Edition
As the title says, I am contemplating switching from a loaded 2010 Larait Supercab to a 2017 XLT Special Edition Supercab. Has anyone done the switch from a Lariat to an XLT? I know I will miss out on some goodies, but will add the leather seats from Katzkin, and I can load up the XLT to almost Lariat level? The cost of the new Lariats is a turn off and the rebates on a XLT are great. Looking for opinions!

I have a few friends with previous model Platinum and live my XLT 302A with Katzkins leather. Plenty of little things the XLT doesn't have, most notable to me is dual climate. That's something that I didn't care about either way. I came from a loaded Tahoe so luxury was something I was used to. I wouldn't change a thing about my XLT decision.

Dual climate and cooled seats doesn't matter to me also. I just can not justify the additional cost, the katzkin leather will be an improvement over the factory and the back will be leather not vinyl. If I want to add the LED headlights, aftermarket will work because the Special Edition model has the smoked heads. I can upgrade the radio with an amp, but at my convenience. And the Ruby Red with the SE pkg looks awesome.
