Default 20" aluminum wheels on lariat

So I was looking at Ford's website and I saw these wheels. They looks like the 20" wheels on the lariat 501a package, except these look to have dark pocket. Any idea if its just photoshop or these wheels are actually in the works?

It would be neat if they were different wheels, but I think they are the same wheels that are out now, where they are all silver unless you get the KR and then the pockets are caribou.

I think it's a camera angle thing or just made to look different than what they are. Like the Platinum grille online appears to have black mesh but it's all silver.

Ya Booze I was really hoping they were another wheel coming out but you're probably right.

dGMJoe I had seen that I was just hoping maybe they were going to start painting the pockets magnetic. The silver ones on the lariat are just too much silver for my taste.

I like the design. It's different from most wheels. I just wish the pockets stood out more like they do on the king ranch

To hell with other people. I like them. I do think they should be a slightly different color, otherwise why bother offsetting them? The KR version looks really good with the two-tone.

I considered getting these wheels and having the pockets painted Tuxedo Black to match my truck. But then I remembered I hate black wheels. All of them. And rivets. I hate rivets. Also light bars. I despise light bars.

Anyway Mark, I think your truck looks sharp.

My brother said the pockets would look better a different color, probably but i'm not going to do it!!!I did paint the back inner wheel wells black,it looks a lot better then the little bit of blue paint Ford had under there!!!
Thanks for the compliment on my truck i think it looks sharp and do get a lot of compliments on it!!!

"My brother said the pockets would look better a different color"

Your brother has good taste. I did up a quick photoshop showing the pockets a darker gray. It gives it a completely different look, either way it looks good, ultimately it's your call. Nice Looking Truck

Someone is bound to do this eventually... Body Color. It might be okay with some colors (Magnetic or Black) but I don't think Blue Flame is one of them...

(I'm *NOT* a Photoshop expert by any stretch...)

By the way, I saw a Lariat on the lot somewhere a few months ago - the first time I realized it's the same as the King Ranch wheel minus the Caribou paint. I thought they looked pretty sharp - if I was going to get a Lariat that's the wheel I'd want.
