Not a turbo expert, so forgive stupid questions.

My understanding is that the turbo's are driven by exhaust gases and that the pressure built is computer controlled. The turbos will build whatever (within reason) pressure the computer calls for, sucking in as much air as needed. No?

Not a stupid question, ECM controls air/fuel mixture by monitoring WT/Intake air temps/OX sensor, manifold pressure etc. It doesn't control turbo's directly, only indirectly by making more power/exhaust gases to turn the turbos. Turbos cause a restriction on the intake side until they create boost. Air filter creates a restriction all the time. Turbos restrict exhaust gases all the time, but this is a small amount. It all comes down to efficiency of the engine, less gas to get the same amount of work done.

Nice! (My only concern on all EB's has been the lifespan of the turbo as we all used to half-million mile motors anymore.)

I also like the boost gage there on the right. I remember reading somewhere where one could displace "Trans Temp" for "Boost Gage" in the dash display but perhaps that's only on 2015's or other EB models??

I wish there was a way to see boost on mine.

This stock with tune and cold air intake by airaide

352 WHP & 395 WTQ and 4X4 Don't know if they have done a 4X2 yet but power should be higher at the wheels in one.

I have a lariat with a 2.7l... I can replace the Trans temp with the boost gauge.. I think you need the 8 inch screen to do it

Thinking it may be for lariat and above.
