I don't drive aggressively at all and my lifetime average is around 18 mpgs which I think is pretty good, much better than my previous 5.4l. Some people here claiming over 20 lifetime average, yea I'm not so sure about that.
This is the part that you will probably realize that the only "giant flaming load of bs" in this thread came from your post, not mine. Will you disappear now since I discredited your opinions? I also have around 500lbs of tools and materials in the bed of my truck daily and still get horrendously better mileage than you.

My lifetime average was 23.4 (12,500 miles of summer/fall driving) until about 4 weeks ago when winter blend became mostly all there is now after 1500 miles of driving it is down to 23.2 mpg. The mileage on each tank is now about that also so far. Tire pressure dropped significantly so pumped them back to 38/39 psi from 32/33 they had dropped to. Only way I can push it up above 30 mpg is to loll down a steep mountain for 20 miles. I now also run against those strong change of season winds and gusts up around 30 mph, at interstate speeds, a lot more than in the warmer weather. I do expect it to drop to the 21.5 mpg area as winter sets in for longer periods of time but my driving seldom changes and is mostly East West and North South high speed interstate mileage.

Careful, your going to get flamed here like me for posting stuff like this.
I run my tires at 41 psi, and luckily don't see any of that winter gas here in South Florida. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only "liar & gross exaggerator" making such outlandish claims around this forum, lol.

Buddy you have not discredit me in the least bit as far as I am concerned. What you really need to do is whip out a calculator and figure out what you really getting. To do that you will have to fill up your tank full and then go on a long drive go back to the same gas station filling up again and do some math. I'll bet you'll find those numbers are very different than what your computer is telling you in the truck.

I thought you'd never ask. This is from my fill up today, 605 miles on 22.3 gallons. 27.1 mpg's hand calculated, definitely not way off. Definitely better than the epa rating, and definitely way better than what you're getting

Notice the price in my picture? I filled up with ethanol free this time so my next tank should really **** you off if the 10% increase in mileage is true, lol.

I've noticed on my runs thru Florida SE area an increase of a couple mpg, probably sea air. The tolls eat my savings. Lol

Never Drive in NJ then, you can literally see the next toll plaza as you are paying at the one you are at, lol.

The urban legend I always hear is you get 10% less mpg's using ethanol vs. without. Here is a good math question, What percentage of my mileage are you averaging?
