I think my truck is just a freak. I drive "normal" from a complete stop it shifts around 2250 rpns which usually has me accelerating at the same pace as traffic.
If I cruise at 50 mph, it gets 40+mpg's

I really don't believe all the wild claims people have about their MPGs, 40 MPG GIANT FLAMING LOAD OF BS!!!
I don't drive aggressively at all and my lifetime average is around 18 mpgs which I think is pretty good, much better than my previous 5.4l. Some people here claiming over 20 lifetime average, yea I'm not so sure about that.

I accidentally reset my lifetime after this was taken but here it was at 38k miles. I guess you can be sure now?

And before you ask why my lifetime is lower than my flaming load of BS claims, here's my truck and the 6000+ pound 25' boat I tow with it.
