Default 2 - 2.5'' Leveling Kit Opinions & Install Providers

Guys,

This forum is becoming such a massive database that it is difficult to get a grasp on consensus opinions about leveling kits and kit installers. What kits do you have installed (specifically level kits) and please tell us how they have performed (good, average, ride got worse/same, etc.). Also - i know the simple spacer level kits can be a DIY job but at my house there is really not an ideal area for me to handle jacking up the truck. Is there a decent "chain" installer that would actually install parts that you bring in? There are many decent installers in the Central AL area but most of the more reputable ones do NOT install parts that are brought in "second-hand" so to speak.

Please chime in below!! I think this would be helpful to many folks on here.

Following as I'm looking into doing a shock strut leveling, rather than going with a space leveling kit.

I had a level spacer first and switched to bilsteins to lower the front a bit as it seemed motor high with the supposed 2" kit.

I had the dealership install them both. Was around $275-290 for install and the alignment after.

I did the Motofab 2.5" on my RWD in about 4 hours in my driveway. Cost was around $60. But there is a level kit thread as a sticky.
