OP is correct. The Doc fees and paperwork fees are bs. I don't pay extra at the MVD for renewal of registration and the person at the dealership is employed to do that job. Is that person on commission, paid by unit...etc? Much like dealer perp, paint protection (popular here in AZ) it's a tool to be bargained with. Good on you for sticking to your guns and not paying.

I've worked at a dealership and done the paperwork for my fair share of vehicles. The dealer sure is doing something for this fee. They're taking your money and keeping it.

Hm, not so sure on this one for a 302a. I have a 16 302a, w/2.7 FX4. Dealer was 51,250 plus markup (as if) $55k. I paid $36 OTD. I'd say you've got some wiggle room there still, my opinion Seattle area.

Deals done. 38.5k otd.
It is a 3.5 though and the power is impressive. Especially from about a 30mph punch. Its at 90 very briskly.
One of the most impressive things to me though is how freaking quiet the truck is.
Can basically talk at a whisper at interstate speed.
