i had a early 2018 5.0 that had issues with the transmission and engine. I ended up trading it in for a late build 2018 and it feels like a totally different truck. all of the tsb's had been applied due to being built in August 2018. and the new one is great no complaints. Just get a late build.

I have a 2018, 3.5 eco and have had no issues to date, other than the one minor seat belt recall. I love this 10 speed and mine shifts so smooth it's hard to tell when it shifts usually unless I'm towing my boat and even then they are still very smooth. Love how it keeps the engine in the sweet spot of the power band. Of course unless I'm towing it doesn't really use all 10 gears. Best tranny I've ever driven and I've owned way too many vehicles to date, I'm a bit of a new car nut.
