Default 18 Screw things that I noticed.

Just got my 18 Screw and here are some things that Ive noticed. Am I just being crazy?

Front doors seal better than the rear. They even have a different thud when closing them. Not sure if Ford skimped out on sound deadening on them but was thinking bout putting some dynamat in there

Drivers seat lumbar support is aggressive

Anyone else have alot of wind noise on highway, nothing crazy like some people but just mirrors and stuff like that.

Just a few observations that I made. Other than that I love my rig

I have a 2017 with wind noise from my driver side door, I believe there are many people here that have the same issue. I think there is actually a thread on here about guys fixing the issue.

I don't notice a difference in the sound of the front or rear doors closing on mine. As far as the wind noise, I can't say that mine is any worse than I expected and it doesn't sound like there is anything amiss. I went from a small sports car which was very aerodynamic to this truck so the noise level is higher than I used to deal with in general, but still pretty quiet for such a big beast.

just my rear passenger door makes a different sounds. I almost took it to the dealer as it sounds a little more clunky and the other 3 sound solid.

Exactly...its not like the heavy thud as the 2 front doors. I wonder if it has to do with the seals

My 17 rear driver door sounds less solid than the rest when closing.
There is a thread on the over aggressive lumbar. I followed the instructions as was relieved that it worked.
My XL interior is quiet as a church mouse at all speeds, except WOT........love my Borla.

I think the front doors are heavier therefore they will have a different sound when they close. Interior noise is quite low, it's as quiet as the Nissan Pathfiner (2016) I traded in. No weird wind noises or anything.

Good luck with your new ride!

I also have to take care of the lumbar aggression on my seat. One thing that I noticed is that I was driving too reclined on the seat, so I set it more straight up and it reduced the pressure on my lumbar. Not that I like the driving position, but until I find some time to do the mod, it'll do...
