Default 18 SCrew 2.7 xlt accelerates on its own

So me and my wife have both noticed when we let off the gas the truck will start accelerating by itself sometimes alot maybe 5mph which is alot when your coasting to a stop. It doesnt happen all the time but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this? I thought maybe the turbos are still spooled but it will do it at stop sign to stop sign once I get my cluster I can see if its boost or what but with the throttle closed the bypass should be activated and all boost is dumped into the intercooler or wherever it goes. My truck is all stock besides a factory trailer brake controller and hill descent control.

Does it do it all the time or intermittently?

Mine does it randomly. When shifting from park, sometimes it takes off like I'm at ~20% throttle. And like swampvol, on occasion it does it when up-shifting.

I've noticed it too, almost seems a bit worse in Sport mode. I think it's just some transmission rev-matching logic.

Its gonna end up causing an accident it accelerates fairly hard like 5mph sometimes unless you lay on the whoa pedal. Do any of you have a 6 speed or is this a 10 speed 2.7 issue?

Mine's certainly not that bad. I'd start by documenting the issue (do you see it on the speedo/tach? If so, get video) then taking it to the dealer. It may be a firmware bug, and updating everything may solve the problem.
