The short wheel base of the SC SB must make it fantastic off road. Im more interested in how the front torsen helps in the snow. I gotta find that part number and see how much it cost from Ford. I could see putting the OEM torsen in my F150 to help in the winter.

Also i wanna hear about how the 4x4 Auto works on the new raptor. They changed the design of the transfer case and i believe 4x4 auto is more of an AWD now, with the option to lock in High.

Does anyone know of the torque on demand (TOD / 4A) is different than the TOD that comes on the regular F150 Lariats and above?

I know they've been saying it's new but wasn't sure if it was just new for the Raptor or a new system all together?

It's more like a true AWD system now I believe.

According to the 2017 Ford Raptor Owners Supplement: "This system provides similar 4A capabilities as other 2-speed torque on demand (TOD) systems but with mechanically locking 4H and 4L settings. In 4A mode, the system is interactive with the road, continually monitoring and adjusting power delivery to the front and rear wheels to optimize traction based on terrain mode selection."
