17-20 Gen2 Turbo Sizes (3.5L Ecoboost)
Good Day All,
I've done abit of research but cannot find the Turbo Sizes, pressure & flow rates of the 2017- 2020, 3.5L Ecoboost, F150 & Raptor running a standard Ford ECU program(s) from factory
From what I have found is:
1) 2017: F150 3.5L Ecoboost has the smallest turbo
2) 2018- 2020: F150 3.5L Ecoboost has a bigger turbo (Turbo might be same size as Raptor but not sure) than the 2017 model
3) 2017- 2020 Raptor has the biggest turbo.
For the respective models above does anybody know what the compessor wheel sizes are, Normal operating Max flow rate, Normal operating Max pressure with trucks running the standard Ford ECU programs from factory?
Thank you

Turbocharger changes include electronically actuated wastegates, turbine wheels now made with lighter Mar-M-247 super-alloy increasing responsiveness, and the same 51 mm turbine wheels but with sharper vane angles allowing between 2.5 psi (0.17 bar) and 16 psi (1.1 bar) higher boost. The turbochargers continue to be supplied by Borg Warner.
..
G1 and G2 are KO3 bearings with a 51 mm compressor. Not sure of the ID of the wheel though for either year. This is where GT/Full Race turbos make up ground over the OEM. Current version has a billet wheel. Not sure of the G1 does, my guess is they are identical.
Can't find the exact info on the HO turbo's.
