Default 16 Platinum Price Increase
Went to purchase a 16 F150 Platinum and the dealer just sold the last black one in stock.

Started to place an order for the same truck option for option and the price was $982 higher than the one they just sold.

Insane!

Same thing happened to me. Apparently Ford takes a price increase in the 1st quarter.

Was it because of factory incentives on in-stock trucks? I was going to order my truck but the dealer said better prices could be offered if I found one on a dealer's lot.

Nope, truck price went up, Ecoboost went up, I think a couple more options as well.

No difference in options on mine, just a straight price increase.

Not sure if the price increase impacted other trims. Going to take a look at the Lariat Sports now.
