Its an 09 Cobalt SS (turbo'd cobalt) makes about 260 stock. I purchased it from copart, which is basically an salvage yard. This car in particular was there because the timing chain tensioner broke, so timing jumped. Basically there is a possibility that the valves made contact with the pistons.

Ultimately, I've got to replace the timing chain, possibly some of the valves and hope thats it.

After i get it all running and driving etc. I think I'm going to make a kit car out of the parts called "goblin DF"

I'm pretty new to it all so, learning as i go.

That's sweet! Should be a fun project! You should start a thread on it in the "Off-Topic" section. I'm sure there's several on here (myself included) that would love to see it come to life.

Droning? It's a little raspy.

Thanks, I have been reading.
