Interestingly I put a load of 8 mustang wheels and tires in my bed and the truck rode and drove great!! so I guess I need to find around with a few hundred pounds in the bed???

You really need to look into installing the Helwig rear sway bar. It really helps the way the f150 drives down the road.

What tires do you have? I have a screw with the fx4 package and originally had 20" rims with the stock Hankook tires. It was a little bouncy but I didn't think much of it. I just happened to swap wheels and tires with another forum member for 18" goodyear wranglers. The ride seems much stiffer now and I haven't noticed the bounce.

Are the FX4 package shocks supposed to be firmer or softer than that standard shocks?

My FX4 has the 18" and rides like a truck, not soft doesn't sway around maybe this guy is on to something.

I thought the suspension sucked in my xlt sport 4x2. I installed the sway bar and it helped allot. I do feel it is still a little bouncy for a truck. I did also add the camper shell but that didn't do anything.

When I go in for my 5000 mile oil change I'll talk to the service mgr.

I've had an 05 FX4, 11 FX4, 13 FX4 and now my 15 Lariat and this is the first F-150 I've ever owned that I'm happy with the factory suspension. It feels just right to me. To each his own.

I love how my SCrew xlt sport fx4 rides and drives, always been a GM fan and I never was very pleased with how a ford truck rides or drives until I drove this one. Imo the 88-98 GM trucks rode and drove better than any ford up to these 15s

Mine is an FX4 and I think it rides great. Does not have the characteristics you describe at all. I'm curios to see if the dealer finds a problem. Also have you checked your air pressure. I run mine at 45PSI cold all the way around and it rides and handles great.
