Default 15 FX4 suspension to soft,unstable?

I just got a 2015 F150,FX4,3.5 ,Lariat, supercrew with 20 in wheels and I hate the way it rides and drives.
I am not new to the F150 ,I have owned a 08 FX4,11Eco Fx4 and three Raptors,so I never bothered to drive a 15 before I ordered one.
The truck feels like my grandpas 1976 Lincoln. It floats down the road and is very unstable in the turns,it bobs and weaves so much it will spill my coffee.

My wife even said this truck is like a big yacht and to floats does it have a bad shock? Is it possible it was built with the wrong shocks??

Part # front shock FL34 18045
Part # Rear shock FL34-18080 EC

I went back to the dealer and drove another FX4 truck and it felt great so I have an appointment Thursday for a tech to look over the truck and possibly order new shocks? They think they could have possibly been tied down to tight and damaged in transport.

Maybe they forgot to hook up the sway bars?

I noticed the same thing on my 2wd. When I purchased the truck and drove it home through Houston on the concrete section freeways I noticed the suspension was real soft. So soft that it has a bad bounce and second bounce to finally settle the suspension. This was very noticeable when making wide turns on the freeway. When the truck dips and bounces back in a curve the truck tends to pull the steering in the direction of the curve aggressively in all the bouncing. This was so alarming as soon as I got home I told my wife when driving that truck be careful in turns on concrete sections of road cause the truck will bounce and pull the steering in that direction.

I also watched a review afterward on the comparison of the f150 towing compared to the dodge Eco diesels towing, and in comparison they said the f150 towing felt very unstable and wanted to roll or was loose in the rear end due to its softer suspension. Compared to the dodge that was very stable and planted in corners towing, they noticed none of this with dodge. I assume because the truck is lighter now they made the suspension softer, but made it too soft.

I also noticed lowering the tailgate and pressing my 170lbs frame on the gate, the rear suspension moves very easily and soft. Also over a bridge in town I compared the truck to that of one we had on air ride, the truck bounced badly from each section of concrete. I've lowered many vehicles static, and air ride, and this truck rides way softer and with more bounce than any of our lowered trucks before. Cut springs and all. My truck now is bone stock, plan to do a 2" level front or back not sure yet, either way won't affect the suspension travel or ride characteristics. Not a huge concern for me now, considering I don't tow much weight, but if larger wheels cause the steering to pull anymore than it does in turns already than we have an issue.

be careful about mentioning the soft suspension and twitchy steering. Others seem to get offended when you point out things like that on their new truck. I know what you mean. My old FX4 was rock solid steady and planted. Car like ride is not what I look for in a truck. (oops.. sorry... I mean this thing is the best driving and handling truck I have ever had... pass me some more Kool-aid) I did change some of the characteristics that annoyed me by adding a sway bar, add a leaf, shocks, and better tires. The steering is still goofy. There has to be a way to electronically change the feel of it. It just does not have good on center feel.

I have a friendly dealer who would sell me trucks at invoice so I kept them a year and basically drove them for free. I run a dealer tag on them so did not have to pay title taxes either. Each truck I drove to about 15,000 miles

The last one was a 14 Raptor and I loved that truck, and I sold it before the re sale dropped and thought about getting a 15F150 until the new Raptor was out and with 10K off and free finance how could I loose???
The problem is I don't really love this truck ,don't get me wrong it real nice but not a Raptor.

Not sure but my FX4 2015 is a rock. I will probably change out shocks at some point. My 07 Duramax lifted rode better imo.
