Bought my 12volt back in June. Lock/unlock/lock with an easy install. Like others have stated, range is limited but fine for me.

Ok so disregard all my other questions above. I bought this at a local dealer today and installed it and it works... but I don't have remote start in the menu even after changing the bcm code in forscan

Also it came with a small jumper wire in a separate bag. I installed that to make it work. I was hoping the perimeter alarm could be disabled and only use his for remote start. Apparently I'm missing something. Any help is appreciated.

When I put that jumper in the perimeter alarm seems to have stopped working on mine. Does it still work on yours?

It's almost like I need that jumper in to make the remote start work and yes, with jumper in the perimeter alarm works. I still can't get the menu to appear on the dash for remote start.

I think these are the two changes with FORScan, the BCM and IPC.

726-22-02 xxx* xxxx xxxx Remote Start Enable Cfg: 0=disabled, 1=enabled

720-02-02 xxxx *xxx Remote Start: 0=disabled & D=disabled is listed

I am not sure why my perimeter alarm doesn't work, it was working before I put the jumper in but I was also playing with the sensitivity and maybe that is why it doesn't work.

I changed 726-22-02 but I didn't do anything with 720-02-02. What exactly do I change in that one? They both look like it disables

Not sure now that i look more closely, i think it was related to climate control. Check out the forscan spreadsheet.

I got it!!! Thank you so much!!!! I changed 720-02-02 to xxxx Axxx. The whole time I've made changes to other features I've looked at the common tab on the spreadsheet and I didn't see 720-02-02 next to remote start. Thanks again!!!

Mine works great. 5min install. No forscan. I put a simple toggle switch on the horn and turn it off when I'm done in the evening. Turn it back on when I get in the truck in the morning

Has anyone had any problems with climate control not turning on with the remote start? My xlt remote starts just fine but I have to put in the key and turn it to have the heat or ac on. I have one of the bay harnesses. Thanks!
