With the latest generation can you now control ambient lighting color or is that still lost?

I don't have ambient lighting, but since that's done through the SYNC interface there's no reason you shouldn't be able to.

I think im going to have to put my factory radio back in and pull the Phoenix out. The blue tooth connection is retarded. I have done a master reset in the sync system, removed the sync and the Phoenix BT connection from my phone and reinstalled both and its just hit or miss when it works and IF it even connects. I imagine Ford will want the factory stuff back instead of the aftermarket screen before they warranty anything.

Have you considered it being a phone problem? If both the SYNC and Phoenix BT is having trouble connecting I would lean towards the phone as the common denominator.

Its not the Phoenix, its something in the Sync system I think (since all factory parts are retained with the phoenix except for the 8" screen) as it had started this and gotten progressively worse over the past two weeks. I'm going to try and connect my wife's phone tonight to see what it does first.

Right, but the Phoenix also has its own BT separate from SYNC. If the connection trouble is only with the SYNC side of things, then that's understandable, but if it's both connections then I'd lean towards the phone.

ohhh I see your point now. You are correct. DAMN now ill have to buy a new phone lol. I'm going to try the different phone tonight for the hell of it, but ya I think you're right.
