I've read the entire thread & didn't see anything but may have missed it. Does anyone in this thread have one of these in a 2013 or 2014 F150? Which brand & model do you have? Do you have auto climate control or manual?
What I'm looking for is when I use remote start to start my truck, will the heat or A/C (depending on temp outside) & heated seats automatically come on like they do with the SYNC2 setup? That is the only thing that is keeping me from purchasing the Phoenix unit (or any other for that matter). If you have manual climate controls, I don't want to know what works & what doesn't.
I found a video on Youtube by Redbeard that says his climate defaults to OFF every time he starts his truck. He talks about remote start but he doesn't actually have remote start so there's no accurate conclusion as to whether or not it will automatically kick on heat or A/C when remote started.

Picture of the sync 3 interface being passed through the Phoenix gen 3 screen. Looks incredible!

I've had an Android integrated unit for my 2015 Explorer (Screen and HVAC Controls). Started with one running Android 4 and now am running an updated unit running Android 8 with a six core processor if I remember right. Is this running Android 4?

Keep in mind that this particular UI is new for this model and there are revisions already in the works. Phoenix has been actively taking suggestions on improvements and enhancements. Everything you see on that screen can be changed. I have actually been extremely impressed with Phoenix responsiveness and customer support.

It sounds like there’s a new make and model, and I like that it passes through Sync 3. Do you lose anything over the factory Sync 3 system?
If not, where does one go to buy this latest version?

Okay, so I just watched the video demo of this. I like the idea of Sync 3 being passed through, but I have to say it seems like when you do that there’s a LOT of redundancy. Does anyone else feel that way?
With Sync 3 being passed through, it seems like that’s still where you’d do everything (phone, audio, Nav via CarPlay). If that’s the case, do you just gain the speedo and tach? I really want to like this...
