I guess we will all find out soon. I paid for the expedited shipping, not sure when it will ship/arrive just yet since tomorrow is 11th. I was really wanting to have all the AC controls switch to the screen vs keeping the factory AC ***** etc but I’d rather keep my factory USB’s instead.

Ya but then there would be all the manual controls existing still so adding them to the screen via Forscan would be pointless right? I have manual AC controls so I know very little about the auto AC controls. Here is what the rep recommended to me and what he was talking about.
I was told by the rep that I was talking to the other day that my manual ac controls will be replaced with digital controls on the Gen 3. Also, from what Ive just read in this thread it looks like the factory USB plugs are NOT retained/used and I will have to purchase something else to have usb plugs now?

That's what they say: "Auto A/C will have both physical button and touchscreen control. Manual A/C doesn't have touch screen control."
But in the same time they offer SYNC display in the screen. So I'm wondering if you still can control A/C from the SYNC screen displayed on the Phoenix unit.
No because the manual a/c controls are manual. They can't be controlled through the sync screen just like oem can't.
