I try to stay away from the dealer at all cause. Unless I need a warranty issue and it's something I can't address myself. Just Saying...

If fair price, have them do oil change. that way they have records in case of warranty issue.

If I did have a warranty issue I'd like an existing relationship with a dealer and my service records in their computer. Warranty is over before you get to any major scheduled maintenance and they can't rip you off too hard on a couple of oil changes.

Really depends on the dealership's flow. If you can get in and out without wasting to much time, then goferit. Personally, I'd rather use my local Mom and Pop shop, supply my own oil and filter, and pay $20-$30 for them to change it.

Have them do it.
Don't have them do it.
It depends.
The fact is that there is no "10,000 mile maintenance". Your Oil Life Indicator will tell you when it's time to change the oil. It will either be at a year or sooner depending on usage (but will never exceed one year). Tire rotation should have already happened - many recommend 7,500, some do it every 5,000, Ford recommends it when you change your oil. You can find this on page 521 of your manual.
The first mileage-based maintenance is at 30,000 miles (replace air filter) and then every 30,000.
The dealer may offer "The Works" for $39.99, plus a charge for oil above 5 quarts. Often there is a rebate lowering by $10, or $15 if you get it credited to your Ford Owner's Account at your dealer. The Works includes oil change, tire rotation, as well as fluid level checking, brakes, etc.
I go to Discount Tire, and they rotate my tires free (even on my F-150 with factory tires). Did it at 9,000 miles (but the last 3,000 were one trip), will be taking it in at 14,000.

Worst hairday ever...
I won't even do free oil changes. Now if they want to give me free oil for me to do the work I'm good with that but they never see it my way.
