DAMN - On the oil changes I would try legging that out some. YOu clearly do a lot of highway miles and you're not even breaking down the oil at that rate. Have you ever sent in oil for a Used Oil Analysis. At any rate what you seem to do is exactly what the Oil Life monitor was designed for - as it came out of fleet vehicles. It might help you with your Maintenance time and costs.

Interesting reading - I hope you keep posting as I'm curious as to how things work out in the longer run.

I'd say the 2006 F-150 at 325,000 miles and E-350 at 510,000 are the long run... but agreed keep the updates coming on the 2015!

for the newer vehicles - often the fuel filter is the grate sock on the pump in the tank. In other words a cast iron pain to change. For the design standpoint - they aren't meant to be changed unless you are dropping the tank for real issues.

so I wouldn't worry about it.
