Default No 3.5 EB in the 2015 Reg Cab Short Box

Looking over the Ford dealer ordering info it appears that the 3.5 EB is not available in 122" wheelbase vehicles. My last 3 F150 4X4s were regular cab/short box V-8s, but and I wanted a 3.5 EB in my next one. I thought the advent of the 2014 Tremor would bring the 3.5 EB to the regular cab/short box configuration in 2015. This does not appear to be the case. There's a Tremor at a local dealership, but I'm undecided on whether to bite the bullet and buy it, buy a 2015 with a 2.7 or 5.0, or wait and see if Ford brings out something more interesting in the not too distant future. What do you think?

Good question. Will they release a Tremor, Lightning, Raptor, or Limited? They will do some kind of special model, nobody knows what type though.

Hmm a Tremor 2.0 with 500 lbs less weight than the original would really move! Even the 5.0 would be fast as hell!

5.0 with a blower was my plan, but was told blower program for 15 was a ways off.

But I like the way you think!

Reg Cab, Short Box, 4x2, 2.7 eco, 4500lbs

Would be an awesome sport truck that gets amazing milage, if they make the price lower than the tremor.

I'm thinking of going nitrous until the blowers are out. Should easily be able to cut 11s, maybe more with how much lighter it will be.

A 6 speed manual would make it PERFECT!

The 3.5l tt in the lightest truck configuration is overkill.

I like overkill.
