Hey guys!

My name is Chad, and I'm the new Ford Service Rep. I'm in the office Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 11 pm ET, but please feel free to reach out any hour of the day or night. I'll do what I can to get your questions and concerns squared away.

I have a couple questions----

1. What are you legally able to do as a Ford Customer Service representative for the consumer/owner?

2. Other than documenting problems on an internal computer, what else can you do that the average consumer cannot.

Hello,

Are you experiencing a concern with your truck? Please give me some details, and I'll explore options and resources at my disposal to help out.

Default 2015 f150

I have a 2015 f150 that has a loose screen in the hood. I used an inspection camera and there is a screen on the other side that is not sliding around in the hood. Why are they in the hood and how should my local dealer fix this.

You did not answer my questions. I will leave it at that. I'm not going to escalate anything that my servicing dealer is taking care of. Other than needing help from a higher source in the food chain, I fail to see what the advantage of you guys being on here is other than documentation for Ford. I'm not saying that's a bad idea, but from the few people I've seen use the Ford Service Rep's on here, it seems to have made things worse for the majority.

To be fair, I have tried using the Ford Service Reps before for a minor problem. It didn't need to be escalated to a Regional Rep, but was supposed to be documented. That's been a while ago on another truck. I did not have a bad experience with them, so don't think I'm trying to bust your nuggets.

I get what you're saying. Please let me know if you have any future questions or concerns; I'll be here.

Greetings,

Please shoot me a PM with your current mileage and VIN; I'll look into this.

You still didn't answer his original questions. I would like to know the answers as well.

Hi Chad

I have a question. I have a 2015 with the 2.7 and I wonder if putting the tranny in the Tow/Haul setting adversely affects gas mileage and if so by how much?

Hello Chad,
I'm new to this Forum and grasping at straws ... I have a 2007 F150 4x4 crew cab.. A couple of weeks ago I started having a ammonia smell coming from my AC while on recirculate ... At that time, below the floor mats were wet and smelled like ammonia water . I have since removed the mats and its dry but the smell remains . It doesn't seem as bad when the truck is moving .
Any help or insight would be helpful .
Thanks
Darbo
