Maybe the Forum owner or Mods should remove the thread since they are no longer here.

Regarding the oil catch can for the EcoBoost...
Hi, I'm a new member to the Ford forum and I had a concern that you may be able to answer for me. I purchased a brand new 2017 Ford F-150 with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine. For this year model, have there been improvements to the engine or turbos so that the valves in the engine do not get carbonized over time due to the turbos blowback contaminates. I have seen several YouTube videos where an oil catch can has been installed to the ecoboost engines, just wondering do you recommend that for my 2017 2.7L EcoBoost Engine? Or is it not really required for the 2017s'. I have been told that I do not really have to worry about that and that I should enjoy my trsuck since I have warranty up to 60,000 miles. I'm just looking for some expert advice and recommendations if I should or should not install an oil catch can to my year and make. Maybe there have been improvements and it's not required, if so please let me know.
Thank You,
Gabriel from McAllen,TX

Hi there, can someone help me locate my new truck I ordered back Aug 10, still not delivered and the Dealer has not been able to reach their Ford Rep and get results. I ordered a 2018 Ford F150 SCREW Lariat, PLatinum White Ecoboost to be delivered to Price Ford in Bancroft, Ontario. It has yet to be delivered. Truck was built before Sep 12 and is supposedly on its way, but where is it?
Thx

Steering assist fault
Hey all,
I wanted to let everyone know that we recently changed the FordService avatar; we decided to do this to more closely match our other service accounts. I'm sure going to miss our "vintage" look, but I have to say that the new design is just as awesome!
If anyone has any questions, please let me know. Have a great day!
Brittany

hello... in trying to get assistance with my truck... it's a 2014 Ford F150 5.0 XLT... yesterday my wheels locked when i was turning and a message on dash read steering assist fault. I've been reading and apparently there was a recall for this... Went to Ford dealership in my city but was told i would have to pay for entire cost... any help will be appreciated
