Default How bad is this going to rape my wallet

Somebody threw something on my truck from an overpass last week at night. On initial inspection, I missed it the damage.

Found it this morning however.

The problem is it damaged the paint as well. I know aluminum isn't as easy to repair as steel.

Reckon this is going to exceed my $500 comp deductible?

Holy crap, man. I would think this would easily exceed the $500 deductible. Sorry this happened!!

That's about $800-900 depending on labor rates in your area.

Not sure what or how big it was, but I'd feel damn fortunate it didn't come right through the glass.

You might consult a paintless dent repair for the metal work then go from there with color match.

Comprehensive claim. I just went through this. It will cost your deductible. 500 or 1000 whichever you have. Easily over 500. To do the repair right, you'll need to pull the windshield. Remove the sat antenna, that includes dropping the headliner/interior trim. Ruby red costs more to paint due to the extra materials, and red simply costing more in general. That will bring you over 1k easy.

PDR is not an option at this point. Bullock is right .

Edit , I quoted the wrong guy . Bubba your wrong . Good luck on a colour match . You need to do the whole roof . Its 3 stage and that dent is stretched . good luck with PDR.
