I grazed my rear 1/4 panel with a shopping cart. The impact was very gentle.
At first I thought it was just marked up. I try the wet finger rub and it sorta-kinda diminishes its severity, but it must have cut the clear coat - I hope.
What are the DIY options I can try before heading to a body shop?

If you can catch your fingernail in it. It's too deep, and will need paint. Meguires scratch x might be just fine if it's just a surface scratch
