there were late 94s that where powerstrokes but it is like saying all 03s are 6.0 which that is not the case either, there are some 03s with 7.3s. I had and 85 6.9, 93 7.3 idi, 99 7.3 stroker, 02 7.3 stroker, 11 6.7 stroker. my best one by far was the 02. Miss that truck and it kills me to see a high school kid with it and not take care of it because it was my baby.

It was probably something like the first half of of trucks in 94 had a turbo charged idi where the rest had the di engine. Kinda similar to how the LLY Duramax saw 04.5 to 06 and the LBZ saw 06.5 through 07.

I was just clarifying that the 94 PSD is not badged anywhere as a PSD. It is badged on the fenders as "Turbo Diesel" and on the engine cover as "Direct Injection". Not one mention of Powerstroke even though that is exactly what it is.
