Will a 2010 Triton 5.4 swap to a 2006 supercrew with a 5.4
I have a 2006 Supercrew xlt 5.4l Triton with 424000K on it. The Cam is shot. I found a 2010 Supercrew xlt 5.4l Triton rollover for $1800. It has 120000K on it. Started it up and its smooth as silk.
Will the 2010 simple slid right in? Or is the harness, PCM and others require major rework?

I have a 2008 4.6. I was wanting to do an engine swap with a 09 5.4. from what I gathered though, the computer cant communicate with the newer tranny. if you put a new computer in, it wont communicate with the rest of the truck. I don't know if someone has found anything new yet, but this is what I've gathered when I was trying to go an uncharted route
