Question Non-existent P/S Return Hose-1997 F150

Is it just me or what? The P/S return hose between the cooler and the reservoir that I have taken off the truck does not exist in either the Ford parts inventory or in after market inventories. The available replacement hoses look nothing like the original. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a solution?

Default

If it's a return hose, under little to no pressure - just use suitable bulk fiber-reinforced hose.

Default Getting a hose.

Power Steering coolers, for the most part are after market systems. All of the ones I have seen just use Hydraulic hose and hose clamps. They all tie into the low pressure side so this is not a problem. May I suggest adding a filter to your cooler. By adding a power Steering fluid filter it greatly increases the life of the Pump, and to a lesser extent the steer gear.
