Default Super Trick:

That is the best looking supercharger configuration I've seen....a very good choice if bucks are plentiful.

Twin screw or Rootes type blowers are positive displacement providing uniform boost pressure across the whole rpm range. Turbochargers do very well, but can have boost demand lag depending on the application adjustments.

Any supercharger that is driven from the crankshaft will reduce fuel mileage simply due to the drive-power lost to drive the supercharger. Turbos will actually improve fuel mileage, but plumbing a turbo, single or dual, is a daunting task!

Exact price? Not sure to be honest. I wouldn't even have a guess to be honest. I went to Kenne Belle's website and they don't even have it under the price list. If you can find it and I'm missing something here's the link.

Most like you have to call though.

Oh. And the different types of superchargers are Roots, Twin Screw, and Centrifugal.

Here's the best website ever made to help you out.

Has pictures, set ups, and animations to show you the differences.

The most efficient type is the centrifical supercharger. A good priced one is the Procharger by ATS. They are self contained meaning there is no oil lines to plumb and they come with an air to air intercooler. I however like the Vortech brand better. I've worked with both and the Vortech seems to be better built (they also have a kit for your truck that is under $4,000). Also there is Powerdyne, which uses a unique internal belt driven impeller that makes the supercharger extremely simple and quiet. Check out www.superchargersonline.com they have some good prices.

I live by the same rule but Kenne Belle makes good stuff and I don't think there's such thing as a cheap turbo or supercharger in this world anyways.

the ones of the lightnings will fit the Eaton M112 you will need the 5.4 intake manifold and all that fun stuff. 4.6 and 5.4 are the same only diff is the 5.4 has a longer stroke i belive. i have 5.4 heads on my 4.6L truck so a M112 would be just fine there all over craigslist or junk yards or a wrecked lightning
