so which power programmer gives you the most HP gain?

Depends on the oil and filter you use and how often you change it.

There is a lot to read on this stuff if you want to search. I agree with SinCity. If you don't have a stock truck any more, custom tunes are recommended. CAI on 04-05 5.4l are said to provide airflow off the charts from what the computer can calculate possibly causing a lean condition. This and other mods like dual exhaust are said to be properly calculated with a custom tune. I'm about to get the gryphon upgrade myself. As for the edge, Lev 2 and 3 give me a few more mpg's and took care of throttle lag. Definitely can feel more power on Lev 3. Depends on how much $ you want to spend at the pump. I realized how good the tunes were when I put it back to stock to check things and the truck felt lazy.
