noticed sudden loss of power

Default noticed sudden loss of power

ok im no idiot so all the basics have been checked out like missing etc but drove the pickup this morning and was fine got in it this afternoon to drive to work and and there is a substantial loss of power (t kicks into passing gear every time the wind blows) i dont have a check engine light on or anything and it starts and sounds fine and advice would be appreciated thanks

You mean it drops out of overdrive? check all plug connections realy well.also are you running stock tires and if not what gear set do you use?

disconnect battery cable and reset PCM.

ill try the reset and explain what you mean by safe mode thanks everyone for your imput by the way my cats are fine efm shows no obstructions have 3.55 gears in truck with stock size tire
