Default engine bore

I currently have 1997 f150 with a v8 4.6l(281) engine and I am going to rebuild the engine soon and I was wandering what is the largest you can bore out that engine to without causing it to overheat all the time. Also since I want to put in a supercharger eventually would I be okay putting dished pistons and running them until I get enough money to get a supercharger or will I need to leave the truck sitting there till I get the supercharger.

is it a modular block? if so then increasing the bore to 3.74 would be a good start and im not sure if putting in dished pistons now and running them would be bad, but using forged internals isnt a bad idea. another route you can go is build it into a 5.0 cammer. also, what of supercharger you going to run?

I am sure it is a modular block, but as to the supercharger I am not sure yet I have not done a lot of research on that one just yet
