Default Looking to buy 4.56 gears online should I buy ford racing or ?

So I lifted my 2004. FX4 SC 8 inc and have 35x12.5 tires and I want to replace my 3.73 stock gear's with 4.56 gears. I'm looking online and trying to find a good set. Can someone that has done this before help. Should I just get any brand or should I get only ford racing?
If any one has any links to a good set online please post it. I have a 9 and 3/4 rear and 8.8 front. Any help would be great.

Get the gears. I have an FX4 with 35's too and that downshifting on the highway for minor headwind or hills was obnoxious to me. I upgraded to 4.56 G2 gears from 4wheelparts and that was singlehandedly the best investment I had done to my truck as far as function. I've heard good things about Yukon gears but 4wheelparts didn't have them. The gears plus install was not cheap at all, but it was worth it. Had em for 25,000 miles, no humming or wear down that Ive noticed.

Looking to do same. Do you think that it would be cheaper .. For me? I have a 2wd 2005 150 justblifted it up and put 35s on it .. What do you think it will run me? And what else do I need besides gear set? Programmer? Chip?

The gears are 250 per differential, 250 for the gear kit, and I think they charged 500 for the install. Out the door for both diffs was like 2200 from 4wheelparts. And yes you'll need a programmer to tell the computer you have different gears to fix the speedo. I have the hypertech Max energy thing and even with 35 inch trail grapplers I still can get 15 on the highway

I think the hypertech tuner was 320 at 4wheelparts and on the highway at 70 mph my rpm is 2100. I have the 2009 6 speed trans though

Here are my 2 cents. I think the F250’s look badass, they are massive and they own the road and look down on the Raptor, (which is also badass and far more capable in other ways, obviously). But with an F250 to really make it stand out, you have to put aftermarket rims and tires just like you do with any other stock truck. Otherwise they all look the same and there’s nothing all that cool looking anout them...they just look like a work truck. Not sure if you need to lift them for 35’s or 37’s as they are already have much more wheel well space, but those wheels and tires make the F250 look amazing. So a brand new F250 comes with expenses right off the bat, in my opinion anyway. A Raptor does not. It’s perfect off the lot. I would love either. Can’t go wrong. But Indont have the money. I just keep adding mods to my 2010 FX4.

I would say in the end, if you can afford it, GET WHAT YOU WANT. Life is too short to screw around! You probably won’t want a Raptor or an F250 when you are 80! Get it now.
