I can't find the oil sending unit to attach a pressure guage
I have a 96 F150 long bed, 5.0L, 4x4, with a Manual Transmission. The oil pressure gauge is reading 0. The engine seems to be running fine. I got an oil pressure gauge but can't find where to attach it? My Haynes manual says it is right behind the oil filter. I've looked everywhere around the oil filter and can't find it. The book doesn't even give me a picture which shows the location. Does anyone know if Ford put these somewhere else on some 5.0L engines?

Found it! Thanks!
I found it with your reply. Silly me for thinking when Haynes said "Behind" the filter, they didn't mean toward the back of the engine. They meant forward of the filter and left of where the filter screws on. ! By behind they meant under it as you look toward the engine from the direction you screw the filter in. Thanks!
