I hate this... my truck is a 2008 screw with a 4.6 and has only 6K mils on it.... I started noticeing that I could go to pass someone and i hit the pedal and it just sits there and then all the sudden it comes alive... kinda like a delayed reaction.. is this a ford thing, or a 4.6 thing and what is the fix for it if it is just "the way they are".

Its a Ford thing. Only fix is get a tuner

crazykarl. I have an 07 with 4000 miles on it. Its got a 5.4 in it but I have noticed the same problm. If I am coming up to a yellow light and wanna go, I step on it and ther is like a half of a second delay. Doesnt sound like much but when you are in the situtation its alot. Dont know of any fixes though??

i guess tuner it is then.... i had been wanting one but couldnt justify the money... this may help me justify it to the wife...lol

I've got it sitting in the bank but part of me says don't do it and save the money and the other part of me is like, "WTF wouldn't you get it?? the more power the better"......lol

Im looking at the Sniper Special Forces so I can tune both my trucks at once.. Havent heard of anyone using one yet though

not heard of that one but doesnt mean much either. From what I gather on other threads is this: can different tunes be written for this unit. with sct there are a few people around the country who can write there own tunes for them... But I am assuming from your post that you need one that will let you do more than one truck.. IMHO i feel like you should be able to since you paid for it but then i guess if they let you then others wold be doing there friends etc.

maybe do a google search and look for reviews on the sniper if you havent already.
