Flex-a-lite is a good brand. If you plan on running just an electric fan, I would get a good one, at least 2000 cfm

Well, i've never run electric fan only, but my dad put a cheap electric fan on his 69 Bronco, and all he said it did for him was make it overheat really good, so he put the mechanical fan back on. Didnt feel any more power. But mabye if you get a good electric fan and do an intake you would be able to feel it.

I already have the exhaust and intake i lost some power when i put my wheels and tires on. What are some good mods to gain that power back?

The mechanical fan draws about 15 hp from the engine. If you replace it with an electric one you will free up this power. In a 4500 + lbs truck you will not be able to feel 15 hp. If you pay $500.00 for a kit each HP will cost you a little over $33.00. Weather the Flex-a-lite is the best is debatable. I hear that they make a good product. I have an electric fan kit but it is from a different company. It works for me and was cheaper than the Flex-a-lite. I also have the luxury of replacing individual components.

Cool

Alright so i got the Flex-A-Lite installed after about 6 hours of un-screwing moving and re-adjusting everything to find out that Flex-A-Lite sends the bare minimum for the fan you have to buy and install everything else your self... (now i didnt get the best of the best Flex-A-Lite fan)... after i got it all installed (switch start) its a single fan and its kept my engine as cool as the stock fan... horse power... eh maybe a tad bit increase... when it comes to things to do for more horse power... get a tuner/super chip, air intake, throttle body spacer... thats where i got all mine from
