Default G2 Differential Cover - Good/bad?

I'm thinking of adding THIS COVER when I have my gear swap done, so I have fill and drain ports. Any recommendations for or against?

Thanks in advance.

I'm looking at this same cover. Did you ever install it? Thoughts?

I've heard good on their gears.
Ive used Nitro twice, and theirs is thick, and looks great. Below is one on my last Ram 1500.

Nope. It's still in the garage with the LSD diff. Haven't been able to bring myself to drop the wad of cash it will take to get the gears (and bearings, seals, etc.) done.

Bought one than sold it at a loss. Day before I setup to install I saw a video on oil flow of differential inside and how the OEM steel cover inside is designed with oil flow in mind. G2 and number of other aftermarket covers do not have smooth inside and can cause oil flow issues.

I plan on getting the ford performance model instead, but considering how easy it is to remove the cover, I don't see the reason to spend the money anymore.. haha

If that's the Banks video, I watched it, too. The G2 cover has a pretty standard radius curve very similar to the OEM cover, and is relatively smooth, not the big, boxy, flat back like the one they tested. It should allow the lube to sling along the cover just as well as the stocker.
