Default engine identification

According to a local engine overhaul shop here in Las Vegas, Nv. the D90E denotes a 1979 ford 302 engine. The suffix E3A was not listed in his cross reference catalog. Suggest you verify the suffix again. Good Luck! Remember the D90E prefix signifies the first year of production, not necessarily the year of vehicle the engine came out of.

Those blocks were weak. Don't expect to build it for power.
