04 5.4 gibson shorty headers h pipe no cats and flowmaster super 40's sonds pretty good. Got about 30 hp out of the headers and all.

That's sweet, I can't decide whether to go headers or manifolds once my manifolds finally go

Headers make the Sound quality unbelievable they dont make it too much louder than dual exhaust just sounds a lot better

It just seems like everyone I know that has headers they leak after a short time and I don't want to have leaking headers ya know

When installing Headers, you will want to torque the bolts/studs, drive around to get everything up to temp and then retorque again later.

Some guys retorque same day, others like to wait a couple days.

Thank you that's helpful, I am just not lookin forward to getting these old manifolds off
