heeeelp, i have a 2007 f-150, 4.4 6,cyl 5 spd. it will not back up a hill for love or money without the help of a freight train,the valves keep carboning up & sounds like a deisel,tired of paying ford to clean out carbon over & over, i use lots of sea foam. some one gave me a rear ended early 1990's crown vic. w/a 65,000 mile 4.6 & autom. i was wondering how difficult this engine/tranny swap would be..thanx very,very much !!

You will not be any better off with the Crown Vic engine. Those early engines only produced 190hp. Your 4.2 has over 200.
