Go with a 94-98 12 valve 6bt! Not only is it extremely reliable it's also mechanical!

Default Hi all, new to the site thought i would post my build

I will begin a gen 2 6bt swap next week into a 1994 f150. Yes I have heared all the reasons y to and not to do this swap. this will be my 3rd one and i have 43,000 on the last one with 0 issues. I hope this might help some one else looking to do this as the 4bt become harder and harder to find...

Actaully my friend put a 6bt into his f250, and man it was a lot of fabrication and some how got it to work with a Ford trans. The 6bt only has like 200ftlbs of torque more than other one.

2200 miles on the 6 bt as of this morning. Hand calculated at 26.6 hwy and 22 in town. I use it mostly for comuting 45 miles each way mostly hwy miles. I run it at 70 mph and am turning 2100 rpms. I know these are designed to run wide open all day however, I think I'm going to swap my 3.55 gears for 3.08 . What do you guys think? I think that should put me somewhere around 1850 rpms.
